UK.fo is a guide, and guides get things wrong. Below, in plain words, is what we do not guarantee and which checks stay with you before a pound leaves your bank. The page is published by Sandpiperline Media B.V., Emancipatie Boulevard Dominico F. "Don" Martina 31, Willemstad, Curaçao.
About what we publish
A publisher, not a gambling firm
Sandpiperline Media B.V. operates uk.fo as a media business. Neither the Gambling Commission nor any foreign regulator has issued it an operating licence, and it needs none: no stakes are accepted here, no games are run and no player balances are kept. Wherever a page says “we suggest” or “our pick”, read it as an editor’s opinion.
Reviews, lists, bonus pages and explainers are general reading. None of them can stand in for a solicitor, an accountant or a financial planner who knows your circumstances, and reading them puts you in no client relationship with the company.
Pages age quickly
A review shows an operator as it appeared when the writer last worked through its site and rules. Since then it may have been sold, dropped a payment method, closed its British site or quit the market. Several brands once popular here no longer accept players from Great Britain, and an older page can still name them. The date beside each heading records the most recent edit; it does not mean every sentence was re-examined that day.
Bonus figures
Amounts, spin counts, wagering multiples, game weightings and expiry periods were all copied from the operator when the page was edited. Since 19 January 2026 wagering on a British casino bonus may not exceed ten times the bonus amount, and promotions that mix products, for instance a casino reward that requires a sports bet, are no longer allowed. Text written before that date may still quote older figures.
Use our numbers as a summary and nothing firmer. Only the promotion rules on the operator’s site, opened on the day you register, bind the operator. Where they disagree with us, theirs stand; let us know at [email protected] and the page gets a second look.
Licences and safety
Calling an operator licensed means it told us so and, where a public register exists, an entry turned up when we searched. Licences get suspended, varied or handed back, and companies change hands. Type the operator’s name or account number into the Gambling Commission register before you register. A licence tells you who supervises a business. It does not promise that a withdrawal will arrive or that a complaint will go your way.
Scores and rankings
A mark out of five is one editor’s verdict, not a reading from an instrument, and two careful people can mark the same operator differently. List order also follows commercial agreements, as the affiliate disclosure sets out, so first place is no evidence that a casino suits you better than tenth.
Human error
Every page is written and edited by people. Numbers get copied wrongly, a sentence survives from an older draft, a table row is left behind after a brand rename. We fix such slips once they come to light, through our own rereading or a message from you, without promising that none remain. Treat any figure that looks surprising as a reason to check the source, not as a bargain.
Other countries
A small number of pages describe casinos for Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Ireland and South Africa. Those markets have their own rules, ages and regulators, which we summarise only briefly. If you live in one of them, your local regulator and local law come first, and an operator listed there may not be open to British residents at all.
Pictures, logos and screenshots
Casino logos and slot titles are owned by the companies holding them; we show them so you know which business a passage is about. Photographs are credited on our photo credits page. Screenshots and example tables show how a site or offer looked when the page was prepared and may not match what you see today.
About money and operators
Payments and withdrawals
Deposit routes, charges, minimum and maximum amounts and processing times are given the way the operator or the payment firm publishes them. British rules forbid paying for a bet with a credit card, your bank may block gambling transactions if you ask it to, and checks on identity, age and affordability can delay a first withdrawal. Keep records of deposits and of messages with support, and confirm the limits in the cashier before you pay in.
Games, RTP and systems
Return-to-player percentages come from the studio behind each title and express an average across an enormous run of rounds. One evening’s play is tiny by comparison, and the same title can exist in versions that return different amounts. Our explainers describe how rules and side bets work. No staking plan, progression or pattern overcomes the built-in margin, and none of them makes casino play a way to earn a living.
Disputes with a casino
UK.fo is not a party when you sign up with a casino, and it cannot step in in a dispute over a bonus, a void bet or a closed account. Raise the matter with the operator’s complaints team first and keep its written replies. A British licence holder that has not settled your complaint within eight weeks must let you take it to an independent dispute resolution body, whose name appears in the operator’s terms. We can describe that route, but we cannot argue the case for you or promise how it ends.
Reader reports about slow payouts or confiscated winnings are welcome and may shape a later revision of a review. They are not checked like a court would check evidence, and a review that mentions complaints is not a finding that the operator broke any rule.
Free demos
Where a page links to a demo or describes free play, results in that mode prove nothing about real-money sessions. Demo versions may use settings that differ from the paid game, and nothing won in them can be withdrawn.
Tax and law articles
Articles on tax or gambling law summarise the rules as they were when the article was drafted. In Britain, players generally pay no tax on gambling winnings, but other facts about you can change the picture. For anything that matters, ask HMRC or a qualified adviser.
News
A news item reports what was public on its publication day. It is not usually revised as events move on, so look at the date and follow the link to the original source.
Other websites
Links to operators, regulators, charities, payment companies and news outlets take you away from uk.fo. Their content, privacy practices and security are matters for whoever runs them. We cannot answer for an account decision, an outage or malicious code on a site run by somebody else.
About responsibility
Your play
Gambling is for adults only, and choosing to gamble is your own decision. Put a deposit limit in place when you register, pick a loss you could shrug off, and stop once it is reached. For a break from every British-licensed site in one step, GAMSTOP will shut you out for the period you pick: half a year, one year or five. Ring 0808 8020 133 for the National Gambling Helpline at any hour; calls cost nothing and stay confidential. Tools every licensed operator must offer are set out on our safer gambling page.
What we will not pay for
Within what English and Welsh law allows, Sandpiperline Media B.V. is not responsible for losses that follow from reading uk.fo or from relying on its pages. Covered here are stakes lost, withdrawals refused or delayed, accounts closed and winnings voided. Where some rule of law forbids such a limitation, it applies only within what that rule allows, and your statutory rights stay as they are.
Availability
We try to keep uk.fo online, but servers fail, connections drop and pages are sometimes withdrawn for repair. No compensation is owed for time the site is unreachable or for a page that has been moved.
Corrections
Spotted a mistake? Email [email protected] with the page address and a line or two on what seems wrong. We weigh the report against the operator’s current rules and amend the page when it checks out. Asking us to delete a fair review because it is unflattering is not a correction. The terms and notices bind every reader.
Why this page runs so long
Casino guides often project more certainty than they have: precise figures, star scores, lists titled “best”. Each of those is a snapshot put together by people reading operator paperwork. The operator, the Gambling Commission and your bank decide what actually happens to your money, and this page exists to keep that in view.
