How the Lightning Numbers Work
In each game of Lightning Roulette, between one and five numbers (referred to as "Lucky Numbers") are struck by lightning after all bets have been placed. These lucky numbers are selected by the roulette's Game Control Unit (GCU) and receive multipliers of between 50x and 500x.
What Happens to Straight-Up Bets
A straight-up bet on a struck number pays the multiplier instead of the usual base payout of 35 to 1 for that bet in traditional European Roulette, this means that a struck number can pay out up to 500 times your stake if hit. However, for non-struck straight-up bets, Evolution Lightning Roulette uses a reduced payout of 29 to 1, instead of 35 to 1, which is how the game pays for its multipliers.
